As you know, Boston Volvo Village has partnered with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in a series of 5K running events. Our next road race was set to take place on Presidents’ Day, February 21st. Unfortunately, we have decided to postpone this event, due to weather concerns and to the fact that a large number of runners have to work on Presidents’ Day and will be unable to make it to the race.
Despite this minor setback, the Boston Volvo Village Running Series will carry on! We plan to replace the Presidents’ Day Classic 5K with a race in the late spring or early summer and the details of the race will be released soon. We are also looking forward to the Third Annual Boston Volvo Village Thanksgiving Day 5K Road Race and encourage all of you to set aside your Thanksgiving morning for this wonderful event.
Although we will not be running for multiple sclerosis on Presidents’ Day, Boston Volvo Village would like to use the holiday weekend to continue to raise awareness of the disease, while raising funds for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
We therefore are pleased to announce that for every car that is test-driven during our busy Presidents’ Day weekend sale, $20 will be donated to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
