Directions From 290 East or West, take exit 20 (Lincoln Street exit) and watch for the race signs. [Maps]

Distance 6K, over paved roads, figure eight route, through downtown Worcester, relatively flat and fast.

Entry Fee $15.00 for pre-entries received by May 14, 2000
$18.00 for entries received after May 14, 2000
Make checks payable to: Worcester Firefighters Memorial Road Race, and remit to: Central Mass Striders, Box 60002, Worcester, MA 01606-0002

T-Shirts To all who enter by May 26, with a limited number possibly available on the day of the race (no guarantee!)

Awards Merchandise awards to 1st, 2nd, 3rd in each age group and each Firefighter group.

Race day: June 4, 10:00 AM to 1:00 Nationial Guard Armory, Salisbury & Grove Street, Worcester MA. Institute Park

Parking Parking [map] available around town. Arrive in sufficient time to meander around and find a place to park
You can also take the shuttle to & from Allmerica Financial at 440 Lincoln Street. Park at the Allmerica lot on Beverly Road off Lincoln Street. Busses run from 9AM to 5PM.

Places to Stay Traveling from out of town? Want to stay a few days in Worcester? Check here for hotels and inns that have set aside rooms at a reduced rate.

Water Stations One station in the middle of the race.

Refreshments Post-race beverages, fruit, bagels, and pastry. Live entertainment at Institute Park. Official post-race party at Sh-Booms, 213 Main St, Worcester, 5PM til close.
