Graduates BGA SCHOLARSHIP 5K ROAD RACE
Association Memorial Day, Monday May 28, 2001 9:30 A.M.
Course: Wheel measured 5 kilometer loop course along scenic,
suburban roadways starting and ending at Boylston Center Common.
Amenities: Well marked and monitored course with one water
stop. Prizes to all top finishers and Boylston residents. Holiday festivities
on the common (food, crafts, parade, and veteran ceremonies) following the
race.

8:30 A.M. on the Common

Directions to Site: From I-290 east or west take exit 23B Route 140
North. Proceed for 1.9 miles to traffic light and turn right onto Route 70
(Main Street). Proceed 1.5 miles to Boylston Center.
Race Course: Start at Common
and run south on Route 70 for 1.1 miles, turn left on East Temple for 0.6
miles, turn left onto Sewall Street for 0.8 miles, turn left onto School Street
for 0.6 miles to the finish on Church Street.

Scholarship 5K Road Race. I agree to assume all responsibility for all risk of
damage or injury to me as a participant in this event. In consideration of
being accepted as an entrant in the BGA Scholarship 5K, I hereby, for myself,
my heirs, executors, and administrators, release and discharge any and all
individuals and organizations associated with this race from all claims,
damages, rights of action, present or future, whether the same be known,
anticipated, or unanticipated, resulting from or arising out of, or in incident
to, my participation in this event. I hereby certify that I will not
participate in the BGA Scholarship 5K unless I am physically fit and
sufficiently trained for competition in this race. I also grant permission for
the use of my name and/or pictures in any broadcast, photograph or other
account of this race. I understand that bicycles, skateboards, baby joggers or
strollers, roller skates, animals and radio headsets are not allowed in the
race and I will abide by this guideline.
