The Dam Trail Race

'Grand Tree' 2006

LOCATION From Rt. 395 take exit 4B to Oxford Center. Continue straight through set of lights. Follow signs to Hodges Village Dam. Continue to end of road and parking area.
COURSE Bicycle measured, well marked rolling course covering a variety of terrain the Army Corps of Engineers Flood Control Project. Race course has been re-designed and is now over 10 miles.

AWARDS Home baked goodies to top finishers junior, open, masters, seniors, and veterans. Random draw prizes for all participants.
FEE Pre-entry $15.00. Post $20.00. Proceeds to benefit the Bay Path cross-country team.
WARNING This is not a road race. You WILL get wet, and possibly muddy, scraped and bug bitten. It's lots of fun - come try it.

NOTE THE START IS AT HODGES DAM. The corps of Engineers has reserved the right to make course changes at the last minute. Be prepared to run up to a couple miles more or less if they do. If the Corps of Engineers should have to flood the project due to weather (has never happened), the race will be cancelled.
