Gardner's Annual Thanksgiving Day 5 Mile Road Race is a fast, predominantly downhill course which starts in Gardner and ends in the town of Baldwinville. This year there were 195 finishers in the running division and another 38 in the "briskwalker" division. Race temperatures were in the mid-50s; the skies were overcast, but the rain held off until after the race. - Bob Shepard, Race Director
Nate Jenkins is a former Mass State HS XC team champion with Narragansett HS. Nate is a college freshman. Remember college? Remember being a freshman? Hmmmmmm. Peter Orni is a "grey eagle", the name for former Data General employees. There are many, many former DG employees, especially now that EMC has "merged" with DG. Oh well.
Our Miss Brooks, Phyllis, placed 191st. Is Mike Marcinowski related to Dave Marcinowski, the Grafton Gazebo 5 '99 winner? Team Sumner took the same-name title. Ok, you History majors, what role did Fort Sumner play in American History?
