Welcome!
- Join the fun on race day at the Healthsource CMHC Family Wellness Celebration! This exciting event takes place at historic Elm Park near Race Day Headquarters and is free and open to everyone. Enjoy music, entertainment, face painting, clowns, prizes, and hands-on activities for kids of every age. Healthy foods will also be available, but feel free to bring a picnic and a blanket.

- The Classic. It's back to Worcester's picturesque West Side for the 1997 edition of the Classic. The first half of the course is flat and fast, beginning on Highland Street at Newton Square. The pack proceeds down Highland Street, turning right onto Park Avenue at Elm Park. It's a straight shot south on Park Avenue where, just beyone the 2 mile mark, the runner's turn onto Coes Street, which leads to another long stretch, Mill Street. After a right turn onto June Street, the runners will pass through Newton Square, pass Doherty High School, and up, up over Worcester's toughest climb - Bancroft Tower Hill. The final 4 miles follow the Classic course of past years: Salisbury, Forest, Grove Streets, onto Park Avenue south, finishing with a loop around historic Elm Park.
- Splits every mile. Water stops every 1.5 miles. Lead and trail vehicles and medical support.
5K Road Race & Healthwalk
- The 5K course begins at Elm Park with a quick uphill run on Highland Street, onto June Street, right onto Hadwen Road, left onto Chandler, left on June, past Doherty Memorial High School and around Elm Park to the finish.
Kids Fun Runs
- Free races for boys and girls age 12 and under. The first race for children age 7 and under begins at 1 PM. The second race for children age 7 to 9 will immediately follow. The final Kids Fun Run for children age 10 to 12 will begfin at the conclusion of the other two races. All finishers will receive a prize. A parent or guardian must sign the children in 15 minutes prior to the start of the race. No fee is required.

- Note: Limited parking is available at Doherty Memorial High School. Parking may also be found on the various side streets near Race Day Headquarters. No race day parking will be available on Highland between Elm Park and Newton Square; Park Avenue; Elm Street along Elm Park; Russel Street along Elm Park.
- From the East Rt. 9 West or I-290 west. Exit at Rt. 9 west, which becomes Highland Street. Follow 1.5 miles to Doherty Memorial High School.
- From the South & West Rt. 9 East or Rt. 12 North, turn left onto Highland Street at Elm Park. Follow 1/4 mile to Doherty Memorial High School. Also, I-290 East, exit at Rt. 9 West, which becomes Highland Street. Follow 1.5 miles to Doherty Memorial High School.
- From the North I-190 South to Rt. 12 South, 2 miles to Highland Street at Elm Park. Right onto Highland Street, 1.4 miles to Doherty Memorial High School.
