| This race was run in honor of Karl Tuamivaara. Karl was an avid runner and cross-country skier from Rutland, MA. He passed in 2005 and is truly missed. This gentleman was truly one of the running community’s diplomats. | His contribution to the sport and his legacy will truly be missed. At the race today we have shared many thoughts and events that Karl had impacted
in our lives. I hope the tradition can be shared and carried on by our own sharing and continuation to give back to the sport. The day was wet and perfect trail day for the event. Next year we will all share in this again. Until then, enjoy the trails and keep Karl and others that have been inspirations to the sport in your memories.
