Mount Desert Island Marathon

A perfect day to tour beautiful Mt. Desert Island in Maine by foot. Sunny and in the high 30s to start and in the low 50s by the finish. Named the most scenic marathon in North America by ESPN, it lived up to its billing. Beautiful scenery combined with gut wrenching hills made for a tough and memorable run.
