Conditions were picture perfect for a fast day on the roads.  After getting kicked and tossed in the lake for a 2.4 mile swim, you can enjoy the rapid descents of the bike course where even at 40 mph, you get passed!  But what goes down does sooner or later come back up....and the up hill mountain passes greet the rider in the last 10 miles of the bike ride.  After mashing your legs for 112 miles, its all for the privilege of running a marathon along a scenic river road under the enormous ski jump towers. 

I crossed in 14:34:00 and raised another $10,000 for Brendan's Buddies and the NICU at UMASS/Memorial hospital.  Hope to see some more CMS athletes out there with me someday.  It takes marathon running to a whole new level.
