A very nice turnout: nearly 80 runners travelled to Douglas for the annual Family 5K race... and another 80 kiddies participated in the 1-mile!

Several CMS runners had strong performances in the 5K race. Barbara McManus won first prize in the women's race (18:49), and she placed 5th overall. Howard Bottomley finished just three places later, good for first prize in the senior's division (20:12).

Other highlights: Paul Sheerin placed top-3 among the masters; Fran Maple finished top-2 among the ageless; and John Walsh was tops in the category "Proud Dad Pushing his Daughter in a Stroller"!
