And from Jim: The fine folks at Rehabilitative Resources Inc. added a 10K to their usual annual 5K fundraiser, and a few of us from CMS ran the 5K course twice in the rain to test it out. Scott DesLongchamps of CMS, last year's 5K winner, came in 2nd in the 10K. The winner was Mike Maceiko, WPI head coach, who also came by one week & won a CMS 5K race this year. Tracy Flynn of CMS won the F4049 category, and the rest of us stumbled through fine as well. This was my first race in over a year, and it felt great to be out on the roads again. The course is easy to follow, well-marked, and with enough volunteers to keep things running smoothly. If the weather is better next year, I predict a big turnout.
