Nice mix of club runners and beer drinkers who masquerade as runners this evening....in this humble running scribes opinion Worcester is ripe for a Hash House Harriers group...then again it is ripe for about 85 others things also...but as our fantastic out-going Mayor and soon to be Lieutenant Governor Tim Murray say's "Baby Steps Paul, Baby Step's".....so anyway tonight was another "Baby Step" towards running respectability!! Just last year at this same time the few the proud and definitely the brave would be saying before the run."do you think anyone will show tonight, Paul"??? and now we have standing room only post race inside the SSAC West Headquarters and sometimes folks stop by just to take in the post race camraderie!!

And if inquiring minds are wondering like Jeff Mader of Sudbury, MA..."what we had to eat tonight" well let me tell you that it was spectacular...lamb, steak and chicken kabobs from Ed Hyders Mediterreanean Marketplace on Pleasant Street, Worcester along with plump tomatoes, greek kalamata olives and Dodonis feta cheese salad.

Worcester West may have clean streets, loads of bushy trees and Gracious Home Tours but over here in Main South and the Village of Piedmont we got diversity of people with real character-a few with jobs, Ed Hyders Mediterreanean Marketplace , Living Earth Health Food Store, Maria's Spanish Restaurant on Main South, a soon to be Gilhreins Blues Club also in Main South, a kick ass City Councilor -Babs Haller, Barney's Bicycle Shop ANDDDDDDDDDD Paulie's House Run!!!!!

Paulie's House Run is every Monday Night...regardless of the weather, Paulie's property taxes go up or Mitt Romney becomes President!!
