Wow...competition to see who generates the results first.  I am the judge...yes, yes I am, so I declare a tie!

From Mark: Boston qualifying times or improved qualifying times were the order of the day for several CMS members who ventured to Keene, New Hampshire for the 28th running of the Clarence Demar Marathon. The Hubbardston Rail Runners connection registered PR's for two of its three representatives as Marty Ellowitz, 51, ran 3:14:42 for third overall Senior and Katie Kinnear ran a personal best of 3:17:49 as the third overall woman. The eldest of the contingent, Mark Wigler, 56, ran 3:09:25 for second overall Senior and first CMS member. Peter Orni, 62, of Ashburnham, was first Veteran, clocking a very respectable 3:24:57. Joe Alfano, 39, of Holden posted a Boston qualifier with a 3:13:50. What a difference when Mother Nature cooperates as 50-55 and overcast conditions allowed for almost ideal conditions.

From Kevin:  Joe Wooster ran incognito at this race and got his Boston Qualifier! The Hubbardston CMS runners came out in force too and had a HUGE showing as Mark Wigler, Marty Ellowitz, and Katie Kinnear also reached the BQ mark! Mark and Marty came in 2nd and 3rd in their Age Category while Katie came in third overall! Also of note was Peter Orni coming in 1st in the 60+ age group!   Neil Lacey and Dan Gullage also earned a trip to Boston in April!
