Part of the "Grand Tree" series (who thinks of these cool names, eh?). This one covered 10 1/2 miles.  Ben Nephew led the way for CMS, squeezing home just one second ahead of 2nd place Kent Lemme. Dave Dunham, now officially a master (bad news for the 40-something crowd) was 6th overall, and first master. Jack and Gary Pedigo had a good time (well, as good as you can have running 10+ miles through the woods), finishing together.

Over in the two-miler, young Virginia Pedigo came home 26th and young-at-heart Karen Pedigo was 31st.
