Ha! Faked us all out. We saw Clinton and thought Clinton MA. But, noooo. Anyway, Sergio Ribeiro (one of the great names in all of sport) zipped along nicely, finishing 3rd overall, averaging just over 5 minutes per mile. Sergio was the only CMS participant in the race and was thus slowed down by having to carry the CMS banner, CMS tent, and CMS official water bottles. 273 runners toured Clinton. Clinton is on the southern coast of Connecticut, with a population of 13,000 and a mean elevation of 25 feet, which means most people get wet at high tide. On the plus side, there are more women (51.6%) than men. Median houlehold income is $60K and the median house value is $167K. Hmmm....I'll take two. Irish and Italian make up almost half of the ancestry. These, and other scintillating facts, can be found at http://www.city-data.com/city/Clinton-Connecticut.html |
