Which reminds me of the late, great basketball coach and Rutgers grad, Jim Valvano. When Jim was coaching Iona, he used to impress recruits' parents with a simple introduction: "Hello, I'm Jimmy Valvano, Iona College", which some parents interpreted to mean that Jim owned the college. Ha. Ah, you had to be there. Anyway, the world was a better place with Jim in it. |
