270 runners in nearby Newton.  Louis Amorati (Worcester) journeyed down the Pike to MetroWest to participate in the 8K version.  Louis came home 33rd overall.  Louis was the only CMS runner in either the 8K or 5K.  But then, you only need one CMS runner to add prestige to an event, eh?
