Jim Snyder-Grant writes: "Well, I finally got my Boston ticket stamped. A wonderful day for running: cloudy, occasional light rain, in the upper 40s. And a great course – a beautiful route, mostly on rail trails along the Hudson and Mohawk rivers, and well organized. I’d recommend the race, except that part of its charm is that it’s not too crowded (450 ran the marathon this year – I was the only CMS entrant). My run was delightfully uneventful. Maybe a few seconds too fast in the first few miles, and slower by half a minute per mile in the last 3-4 miles, but otherwise just a nice run in the countryside. Loved seeing that 3:28 flashing when I came around the turn. This was my third marathon, and the third time I planned to qualify. But this time, more training and better weather and good luck all lined up. See y’all in Boston in April." Jim wrote up more details over at his web site here.
