The fifteenth edition of the Mt. Toby 14-Mile Trail Run. A race from Sunderland's Town Park (elevation 250') to the top of Mount Toby (elevation 1269') and then back down again, along jeep roads and trails.

If you've never tried a race like this, you might think "Eh? What's the big deal? Just run hard for the first half, then coast your way downhill...."
... But if you try coasting downhill on a trail, your feet are likely to catch on rocks/twigs/roots, pitching you face-first to the ground!

Congratulations to John Kinnee (1:38:51) who finished 8^th overall. And to Steve O'Neil (1:43:14), winner of the senior's prize.
