| The Junior age group dominated in this annual run. High Schooler

Clark was top CMS finisher. Michael
Forgit (St Peter Marian HS and CMS) was 3rd junior, 4th
overall. Pat McCormick was top
master, cracking the top 10. Kim Duclos
was top woman, placing 14th overall, with Karen McGahie 2nd woman, 1st
master's woman, 20th overall. Bill
Ferrara was tops in the still-swift-60s group. Linda
Usher was top woman in the fast 50s
group. 169 runners streaked the streets.
1/3/03...This just in...Bryan Quitadamo, originally listed as being in the 10-19 age group, because he looks so mature, handsome, smart and strong, is actually only 9 years old. NINE years old. Judges are stunned. Finish line officials are amazed. T&G reporters are scrambling for sharpened pencils. Whoever reported the original error is being made to STAND IN THE CORNER. Of course, this means that the youthful, but very suave and sophisticated (he is up for the part of the young James Bond) Bryan, placed third in the 0-9 age group. 1/4/03...But wait! Hold on to your hanging chads. It has been revealed that Bailey Harmon is a 10-19 year old female, not a 0-9 year old male, making David Catapano the winner in his age category, M0-9. This also means that Bryan Quitadamo actually placed 2nd in the M0-9 group. (Of course, it also means that he got beat by a giirrrrlllll, but we won't remind him of that...ha!). |
