From ace reporter Jennifer
Whitson: "Just a follow up to the results I sent you last week. Today my son
Brendan Whitson placed first in the Junior
Olympic XC Region 1 event with a time of 11:49. He placed first last week in the New
England Qualifying meet with a time of 11:12. He's now moving on to the Junior Olympic
Nationals in Carrolton, GA on December 14th. Fellow CMS member Jim
Gonyea has done some great work with Brendan. He's been coaching Brendan
for the last month and the results have been showing. If you could post his results that
would be great!" Brendan photo by Jim Gonyea Of course, the deal still stands. If Brendan finishes in the top 10, he does not have to clean his room. The sock monsters are building up under his bed! |
