From Sam: "I ran this race on my 40th birthday. I was (5 minutes) late to the start because I tried to take a shortcut through Fitchburg instead of taking Route 13. This course is an excellent, well-marked trail run, with a couple of water crossings to keep your attention up. This year they were crossable without getting wet. I enjoyed the run greatly, and my calves are finally feeling better after 5 days' rest. :-)."
