Do CMS members work?  Of course.  Why?   So they can take business trips and run in road races while out of town.  Why else?

Steve Quitadamo (Auburn) recently took some time out from marathon work days to pen this note:
On a recent business trip I ran in the San Diego Track Club's Hospitality Point 3-Mile Fun Run (July 11, 2001).  A local event for the SDTC with a 150 runners.  And I mean runners!  The top 22 ran 6:00 per mile or less and the top 10 all under 17:00 min.  This included a 15 mph head wind to the Pacific for the last mile.  A beautiful course on a bike path by the ocean.  I ended up coming in 51st with a time of 20:13 (6:44/mile) the 6th male master
.

San Diego Track Club women's competitors at Carlsbad.  Steve was too busy running and working to notice.  Uh huh...and, below, the SDTC Hood Relay team.
