This is amazing. Dave Dunham not only ran in this race, placing second overall, but he turned around and took pictures. Maybe that's Dave going backwards. Certainly makes it easier to shoot pix, eh?
Ken Robichaud, in the NMC T, is thinking "Man, if I knew you could bike this thing, I would have used my motorcycle". Note that Ken was disguised as Ken Parker, but 007 revealed his true identity. Once again, in a stunning athletic feat, a runner completed the entire climb BACKWARDS. Awesome!
Skip Cleaver, of GCS (must be the Garden Club Scavengers, or the Gate City Striders), in the 50+ age group, placed 161st overall. Your guess as to which one is Skip. Just one hill. Yeah, right.
I'm taking up golf.Bob Hodge, right, uses his exceptionally clean white shoes to pull away from a serious-looking challenger. Hodge placed 13th, and was second master. Julie Peterson, 1st woman, and 1st woman master, smokes the guy in the shades. Or is that her bodyguard. The future's so bright, I've gotta wear shades!
