CMS was well-represented at the Eliot 5K. Alan Bernier (Exeter) led the way, placing 2nd overall. Byrne Decker (Yarmouth) and Dan Verrington (Bradford) placed 3rd and 4th overall. Todd Coffin (Freeport) squeezed into the top 10, coming home 9th overall.
Susannah Landredth (Newburyport) placed 48th overall, third in her age group. Loiuse Rossetti (Saugus), who belongs to every running club on the East Coast, placed 1st in her age group. 879 runners completed the 5K course.
The CMS open team placed 1st in the Club team race. CMS came home over 2 minutes in front of PR Racing Team and Greater Lowell. Best team name was "Flying Barringer", made up of the Barringer family.
