164 runners completed the fast five miles. Tim Boilard (Princeton) sporting his CMS Polar shirt, took first place by a scant 3 seconds. Andy Gallivan (Worcester) came home 3rd for CMS. Matt Depari (former Central Mass HS'er) rolled home 4th. Frequent 5K'er Charles Salmond (Fitchburg) cracked the top 10, steaming home 9th. Charles Junior was also the 2nd master. Cheryl Taylor (Worcester) was the top 20+ runner. Coach Bob Girouard (Fitchburg) was the 2nd 50+ finisher, placing 23rd overall. Laura Beckwith (Holden) was the top woman 50+ finisher, in 84th overall. Karl Tuomivaara (Worcester) was the 3rd retirement age finisher, coming home 109th. 26 CMS'ers were listed in the results. Page dubbed the town "Turkey Hills" after the abundance of wild turkeys in the woods.
