Ed Sato (Worcester) was first in the 70+ group, finishing 170th overall. Jon Boyle (Newburyport) was 2nd in the seniors (50+ age group, just 5 seconds behind the group leader, and 34th overall. Tabitha Lumpkins (Shrewsbury) was 3rd in the 30-something group. Linda Usher (Upton) was top woman in the Seniors group (50+) and 86th overall. 206 runners completed the 5K route. That was Brad Klinedinst, former central Mass HS'er at Assabet Valley and U Mass Lowell runner in 2nd place. ![]()
I don't have a photo of Jon Boyle. However, I have a picture of a boy, in brown tones. How's that? Have to do until the CIA sends us a photo. And none of that satellite jazz...just too hard to see the runner's number from 7 miles up.
