CMS placed 3rd in the team race at the Scott Bailey road race, over 5.1 miles. Jerry Learned led the way,
taking 1st overall and 1st in the 50+ age group. Ken Deary scored for CMS, placing 54th overall and 20th in the masters age group (are Club runners basically OLD?) Ed Sato rounded out the scoring, placing 96th overall and 2nd in the 70+ age group.
Curiously, Joel Richards ran under the GFRR banner. Hmmm... And Jim Maloney, a real CMS member (at least in my in-depth, detailed, computerized records), placed 54th, but did not count as a scoring team member. Had he counted, CMS would have placed 2nd. Oh well.
