Once again, the Boston Athletic Association has allotted the Central Mass
Striders some time-waived numbers for the Boston Marathon to be run April
21, 2008.
To apply for a time-waived number you must:
- Be a current member of CMS AND
- Have joined before November 1, 2007, AND
- Have completed a marathon and be able to finish in 4 hours, 30 minutes
per BAA guidelines, AND
- Have volunteered to help CMS by December 2, 2007 (you may count the Ric
Buxton 5K).
- If there are more applications than numbers, we will do our best to be
fair. Volunteer work is the most important criterion. We will consider both
the quality and quantity of your help. For example, a full day at Stu's 30K
will be better received than 10 minutes of registration at a weekly 5K.
To apply, please mail a letter to CMS to arrive no later than
December 31 to:
