| The event started in 2000 in support of the Ellie Fund. The Ellie Fund is a non-profit organization that aids families in the fight against breast cancer through our "Care For The Caregiver" program. Care for the Caregiver supports women and families who are undergoing treatment for breast cancer by helping them with their daily activities: transportation to medical appointments, housecleaning, groceries, and daycare, thereby enabling them to channel the majority of their energy into battling this disease |
