James Joyce wrote "Ecce Puer" (Translation from Latin: "it's a boy!") soon after his father's death and to occasion the birth of his Grandson. It's enigmatic, and bittersweet as much of James Joyce's work. Even Joyce commented that "I've put in so many enigmas and puzzles that it will keep the professors busy for centuries arguing over what I meant, and that's the only way of insuring one's immortality." Joyce also
said that "the only decent people I even saw at a race course were
the James Joyce 10K was the 2nd of seven 2001 USATF Grand Prix Races and is the New England Championship at the 10 kilometer distance. Although the USATF team results are not yet tabulated, the seven CMS age division teams undoubtedly won or placed high in all age group divisions. Team results will immediately follow as USATF release results. |
