With over half of the Triathlon season behind us, the CMS Multisport team sits in fourth place in the FIRM Grand Prix Series. Many first place performances were turned in by CMS Multisport members in the first seven events:
Long time Multisport members Grace Ciocca (1st place.Ashland ,Holiston,) Bill Ferrara(1st Duathlon at the Dunes , Marlboro Duathlon.) , Ken Deary (1st Ludlow. &New England triathlon.) are all undefeated in races entered.
Fred Brassard (Marlboro Duathlon.) , Shari Frigon (Ludlow Triathlon.), Jason Reed (Ludlow Triathlon.), Marc Saucier (New England Triathlon.) , and Marty Tribandis (New .England. Triathlon.), have all placed first in races this year.
The team has a total of 168 points; a close fourth behind the M.R.C. team of Framingham.
The next few upcoming races: Wild Dog Triathlon N Kingston , RI. Aug. 6th ,and The West Kennebunk Triathlon Aug. 13th , West Kennebunk , Me, will give a better indication of where the team will end up overall.
I hear a large contingent of past CMSer's are planning an assault on the coast of Maine for the weekend of the 13th . Anyone interested in a Team should email me or call 508-831-7008. We can always put together teams for these races.
The final two races of the series are the Firm half Ironman Triathlon Sept. 10th , Narragansett , RI., and The Hop N' Rock Offroad Triathlon , Sept.17th , Hopkinton.
