 Host Rhode Island took the Women's team championship 132 to LaSalle's 127. URI also took the Men's championship, 200 to LaSalle's 143.

Kristen Bakanowski (Algonquin Regional 2004, U Mass Amherst 2008)
the New England Regional Pole Vault champ in 2004 placed 10th in the 200 Meter Dash in 26.65.
Kristen also ran the 2nd leg of U Mass' 5th place 4x400 Meter Relay
team, finishing in 4:10. URI was the top team with 3:50. Kristen also won her specialty, the pole vault, with a height of 11-03.75,
winning by nearly a foot.

placed 9th in the 1 Mile Run clocking 4:27.87
. Mike DiDio of St Joe's topped the field with 4:13.

placed 9th in the 5000 Meter Run with a time of 18:35.46.
Rachel Papin topped the field with 16:50.

placed 6th in the 3000 Meter Run clocking 8:46.95.

Amanda Griffin (Uxbridge '04 and U Mass Amherst '08)
ran the anchor leg of the 4x800 Meter Relay, bringing U Mass home in 7th place. Amanda also
placed 8th in the triple jump, sailing 10.21 meters, or 33-06.00. Richmond's Ashley Bell cleared 38' for first. Amanda
then anchored the distance medley team to 7th place in 12:52.

placed 7th in the high jump, clearing 1.60 meters, or 5-03.00, only 2" out of first. Elizabeth also sailed 5.25 meters or
17-02.75, good for 5th in the long jump.

took 8th in the 5000 Meter Run with a time of 15:12.76. LaSalle's Sean Quigley
motored 14:32 for 1st.
