Wesleyan College Track

Cold outside, warm inside. Wesleyan sponsored this mid-winter meet in fine fashion.

Ryan Brennan ( Wachusett and Assumption) placed 11th in the 800 with a time 2:16.42. Jack Morgan of Amherst was first in 2:00.12.

Brian Menard (Leicester '01 and Assumption '05) placed 9th in the shop put with a toss of 9.15m or 30-00.25'. Assumption's Joe Kowalczk was first with 13.2 meters.

Caitlyn Clark ( St Peter Marian '02 and Assumption '06 ) 4x T&G All Star, ran unopposed to win the 5K in 21:51.75. Caitlyn also placed 6th in the high jump, clearing 4-06.00' or 1.37m. Amherst's Ariel Haney topped the field with 5'.

Lynn Conner ( Leominster '01 and Assumption '05) ran 8.03q in the 55 meter dash, then ran 8.10 good for 7th in the finals. Lynn then placed 14th in the 200 meters with a time of 31.54. URI's Dana Skrupa was first in 26.75. The very busy Lynn also won the long jump, sailing 4.13 meters, or 13' 6.75". Finally, Lynn placed 2nd in the triple jump, clearing 9.20m 30-02.25, just about 2' behind winner Julia Rucker of Amherst.
