| David Bergeron (Northbridge HS '02 and Westfield St) had a rough day, fouling out in the Long Jump. Ouch. |
| Jillian Byrne (Marlboro HS '02 and Westfield St) placed 4th in the 500 meters with a 1:28.09. First place time was 1:23.98, by Sandra Bethea of NJCU. Jill also placed 9th in the long jump, clearing 4.15m or 13'07.50. Hashan Johnson of Montclari State won with 16'10". |
| Mark Howard (Sheperd Hill and Westfield St) placed fourth in the weight throw with a heave of 12.17m or 39'11.25. Tom Gilbert won with a toss of 44' 9.75". |
| Matthew LeMaire of Northbridge '00 and Westfield St ran 8.35 in the prelims, then clocked 8.19 for third in the 55 meter hurdles. Patt Moffett took first with 7.83. Matt also placed 23rd in the 200 meters, clocking 24.66. Teammate Ryan Fregeau topped the field with 22.43. |
Way back last December, Wesleyan competed with an interesting
collection of
New York, Connecticut, RI, and New Jersey schools, including: CCNY, Medgar
Evers, Westfield State, Hunter, NJCU, Montclair State, CCRI, Hartford, USMM,
SUNY-Farmingdale, Queensborough CC. Westfield State featured
several former Central Mass High Schoolers.
