placed 12th in the long jump. with a distance of 5.72m
or 18-09.25. Winning distance was 21' 8" by Xavier Garcia of
Colby.

Rich Downing ( St John's 00 and Colby 05 )
placed 2nd with at time of 3:58.41 in the 1500 meters, just
behind Bates' Andrius Staisunas.

Mark Howard ( Sheperd Hill 99 and Westfield State 03 ) placed
eleventh in the weight throw with a toss of 12.75m or 41-10".
Ithaca's Andrew Davidson won with a distance of 50' 10". .

Adam Lukowski ( Bartlett 00 and Tufts U 04 )
placed 13th in the weight throw with a distance of 12.57m or 41-03.00".
Adam also tossed the shot 11.34m or 37-02.50 good for
16th. Bates' Dustin Gauthier was first with a toss of 50' 9".

Matt LeMaire ( Northbridge '00 and Westfield State 04 ) ran
a non-qualifying 6.99 in the 55 meter dash, the 12th fastest time, 3rd in
his heat. Matt then ran 8.13 in the 55 meter hurdles qualifier, and 8.18 for
fourth in the finals. Tufts's Bryan Pitko was 1st in 7.85.

Sean McKeon ( Millbury 01 and Stonehill 05 ) placed fourth in the
3,000 meters with a time of 8:49.54 5, just 6 seconds behind
winner Michael Styczynski of Ithaca. .

Ben Thayer ( Westboro '01 and Tufts 05 ) placed 17th
in the 1,000 meters with a time of 2:58.86 Stonehill's Pat Long
topped the field with 2:31.37.

| Jana Bromell ( David Prouty 99 and Wheaton '03 ) placed
third in the 400 meters with a swift 59.06. Wheaton's Vernick Smith led
the Wheaton 1-2-3 sweep with a time of 58.08. Jana also tossed the shot 11.50m
or 37-08.75 good for second.

| Jill Byrne ( Marlboro '02 and Westfield State '06 ) ran
1:54.41 for tenth in the 600 meters. Tufts' Jessica Trombly topped the
field handily with 1:34.29.
