It's not all study, study, study for the former Central Mass High Schoolers.  The occasionally get a chance to run around and jump up and down.  Harvard sponsored this meet, which mixed college with club competitors.

Ryan Agnew ( David Prouty '02 Bentley '06 ) has continued to progress from his high school days, here placing second in the 5K in a spiffy 15:05.3.  Rich Byrne was 1st in 14:59.97.

Brian Bjorklund (West Boylston '00 and Fitchburg State '04) placed 32nd in the 60 meter dash, clocking 7.64.  GBTC's Stanley Egbor topped the qualifiers in 6.84, then eased through the finals in 6.97.

Shawn David ( Hudson '02 and Holy Cross '06 ) placed 15th in the 200 meter dash in  24.15.  Patrick Horne topped the field in 22.43. 
Robert Leader (Leominster '02 Holy Cross '06) placed 19th in the same 200, clocking 24.27.

Craig Martin (Gardner HS '99 and Fitchburg State '03) placed 23rd in the 60 in 7.44, then came back to place 6th in the triple jump with a distance of 12.23 meters.

Harold Mateo ( Fitchburg '00 and Bentley '04 ) placed 13th in the 60 meter qualifier in 7.21, then clocked 7.31 in the finals, good for 10th.  Harold then placed 7th in the 200 in 23.75. ....

Bethany Miczek ( Leicester '01 and Holy Cross '05 ) placed  23rd  in the 60 with a clocking of 9.01.  Erika Goodwine of Central Connecticut topped the finals in 7.84.  Beth also placed 4th in the pole vault with a height of 3.05 meters.  Anna McFarlane's 3.5 meters topped the field.  Busy Beth also placed 5th in the long jump, sailing 4.51 meters.  5.17 meters, recorded by Yasha Ibikunle, topped the field.

Barbara McManus, of the Central Mass Striders University (eh?) placed second in the 3000 meters, clocking 10:58.03.  Greater Lowell's Stephanie O'Reilly smoked the field in 9:34.   Barbara also placed fourth in the 5K, clocking 18:18.09, and thoroughly whomping the Harvard student behind her. 
Heather Gardiner, also of the CMS U team... placed 1st in the 5000 meters in 17:05.62.
