Action at Harvard's fast indoor track, sponsored by the GBTC and USATF. Greater Boston Track Club Events combined club and college runners.  Fastest mile time of the day was George Milic of Westchester Puma TC, clocking 4:05.32.  Interesting appearance was by New Jersey's Murad Campbell, formerly one of the hottest high school prospects, running 4:16 for Essex County College.

Over in the Women's mile was Millbury HS and Dartmouth grad Erin Dromgoole, now competing for Reebok Boston.  Erin clocked 5:14.84 for 8th in the invitational mile. And former Grafton HS grad, Bethany Hart, competing unattached, placed 2nd in the weight throw with a toss of 64' 11".

Ryan Agnew (David Prouty HS '02 and Bentley ) clocked a spiffy 4:27.72 for 5th in the  mile, won by teammate Jim Kastrenos in 4:20.8. Ryan ran 4:33 in high school, so college life has improved his mile time.
Matthew Clark (St John's '02 and U Mass Amherst) competing unattached, ran  4:23.76  in the second section of the mile run.
Mario Fraioli (Auburn HS '00 and Stonehill) ran a nifty  8:33.29 for 6th in the 3000 meters.  Brown's Chad Buechel took first in 8:26.
Mike Killam (Groton Dunstable '00 and Bentley) placed 22nd in the mile with a  4:46.37.
Sean McKeon (Millbury '01 and Stonehill) ran  9:05.51 for 12th in the 3000 meters. When last we saw Sean, he was competing out in Arizona.  Probably missed all that warm, tropical New England weather.

Jonathan Murphy (South HS '99 and UMass Lowell) r
an  8:30.26 for 2nd in the 3000 meters.
Timothy Sacino (Leominster '01 sprinter and UMass Lowell) ran  7.51 for 6th in the heats for the 60 meter dash, then came back to run 23.63 for 3rd in head 9 of the 200 meter dash.
Jen Baudreau (North Middlesex '99 and Wesleyan Univ) ran.11:03.83 for 4th in section 2 of the 3000 meters.
Jana Bromell (David Prouty '99 and Wheaton College)  tossed the shot 11.97m  39'03.25, good for 5th in the 2nd flight, and 5th overall.  Heather Oldham of UML was first with 47'.
Jenny Farrell (Algonquin '02 and Bentley) was 21st in the mile with  5:47.04 Jenny was a  4 time  T&G All Star, 2nd Central Mass D1 XC, and  20th State XC in 2001.  And I remember all of this off the top of my head!  Deborah Springer's 5:16.95 was the best mile of the day.  Jenny also came back to run 11:03.34 in the 3000 meters, good for 3rd in section 2.  Christina Blackmer smoked the field with 9:39.52.
