In the Women's competition, Assumption squeezed out 222 points to second place Worcester Poly's 195.  Worcester State was third with 86,  Fitchburg State trailed with 58, and Clark scored four points.

Caitlin Clark ( St Peter Marian 02 and Assumption 06 ) a 4x T&G All Star as a distance runner, cleared  4-04.00 or  1.32m in the high jump, tying for fourth and scoring points. WPI's Amanda Roberts was 1st with 4' 10".  Caitlyn then came back to place fourth in the 3,000 meters in 12:14.43.  Amanda Learned of WPI was 1st with 11:28.

Rowena Cowie ( Leominster '01 and Assumption '05) sailed 13-05.50  or 4.10m for fourth in the long jump.  Winning distance was Lindsay Bulso's 14' 11".  Rowena also placed fifth in the javelin with a toss of 75-01 or  22.88m.  Melisa Lalli of Assumption won with a toss of 95'.  Rowena rounded out her day with a 10th in the 100 meter dash with a time of 15.26. WPI's Rebecca Hamel was first in 13.05.

Julie Durkin ( North Middlesex 01 and Assumption 05 ) ran 21:58.52, good for  2nd  in the  5000 meters, part of an Assumption 1-2-3 sweep.

Lisa Gauvin (Shepherd Hill '02 and Assumption '06) had a busy day.  Lisa tossed the hammer 53-02 or  16.20m good for 8th place.  Kerri Coleman of WPI won the event by almost 30 feet with a mighty heave of 141'.  Lisa placed 11th in the shot, with a toss of 21-04.00 or 6.50m.  Kerri Coleman won this one by ten feet with a toss of 41' 10".    Lisa also tossed the javelin, sailing 69-04 or  21.13m good for 8th place behind teammate Melisa Lalli's 95' distance.   And, just to be consistent, Lisa tossed the discus the same distance of 69-04 or 21.13m.

Kristin Gauvin ( Holy Name '00 and Assumption '04 ) placed sixth in the long jump with a distance of 12-10.25  or 3.91m.  Kristin also no heighted in the pole vault.  Kristen Tervo of Worcester State took first by clearing 7'.

Stephanie Hackler ( Wachusett '01 and Assumption '05) ran 2:54.16 good for fifth place in the 800.  Olivia Patch of Worcester State was first in 2:35.

Brianna Kirk ( St Peter Marian '01 and Assumption '05)  tossed the javelin 75-08 or 23.06m good for fourth place.

Shirleen Poon ( St Peter Marian 01 and Worcester State 05 ) ran  1:12.64 good for third in the 400.  Amanda Roberts of WPI was first in 65.8.  Shirleen also ran 32.34 good for eighth in the 200.  Valerie Ambroise of WPI was first in 27.37.

Kate Saba ( Shrewsbury '02 and Assumption '06) ran 20:59.47 for first in the 5000 meters (part of that 1-2-3 sweep for Assumption). Kate also ran 2:06.85 in the 3000,  good for third place.

Lauren Simpson ( Leominster '01 and Assumption '05) tossed the javelin  81-08 or 24.89m for second place.  
.
Gina Valentine ( Shrewsbury 01 and Assumption 05 ) ran 5:49.92 for third place in the 1500 meters. 
.

In the Men's competition QPI ran away with 265 points to Assumption's 162.  Worcester State had 87,  Fitchburg State 78, and Nichols 9.

Ryan Brennan ( Wachusett  and Assumption) placed fifth i9n the 800 in  2:13.18.  First place went to Keith Bonneau in 2:07.09.

Louis Cote ( South 00 and Assumption 05 ) ran 17:21.18 in the 5000 meters, good for third place behind  Dan Savukoski's 16:54.

Keith Kantor ( Murdock '01 and Fitchburg State 05 )  had a busy day. Keith  tossed the javelin 95-03  or  29.03m good for 19th.  WPI's Egas Gomes had the winning toss of 181' 10". Keith also tossed the shot 23-07.75 or 7.20m, good for 10th.  Assumption's Joe Kowalczyk took first with a toss of 40' 2". Keith also ran 10:33.91 for 7th in the 3000 meters.  WPI's Curry Alexander was first in 8:55.62.

Joe Lepain ( Wachusett 99 and Assumption 03 )  placed fourth in the 3000 meters with a clocking of 9:56.37.

Ryan Majewski (Shrewsbury '99 and Assumption '03)  tossed the javelin 109-07 or 33.40m good for 18th place.  Ryan also placed third in the pole vault, clearing 11-00.00 or 3.35m,  Worcester State's Greg Borque was first with 13'. 
.
Brian Menard (Leicester '01 and Assumption '05)  spun the discuss 81-10 or  24.94m for tenth place. Brian also heaved the hammer 61-06 or  18.74m for sixth place behind Worcester State's Steve Ringer with 112' 5".  Brian also placed seventh in the shot with a toss of 30-11.00 or 9.42m

Anthony Migliozzi (Fitchburg  HS and Assumption )  cleared 9-00.00 or  2.74m in the pole vault, good for fifth place. 
.
Scott Proulx ( South '01 and WPI '05 ) ran 4:23.22 6 for third in the 1500 meters.  Keith Bonneau of WPI was first in 4:14.  
.
Tom Reidy ( Millbury '01 and Assumption '05) no-heighted in the high jump, but came back to sail 17-00.00 or 5.18m for 11th in the long jump.  Tom also placed fourth in the triple jump, with a distance of 38-07.00 or 11.76m.  Fitchburg State's Craig Martin was first with a distance of 39' 10".

Danny Savukoski ( Fitchburgh 99 and Fitchburg State 03 ) took the 5000 meters with a time of 16:54.49.

Matt Swett ( South 00 and Worcester State 04 )  tossed the javelin 127-08 or  38.91m for 12th place.  Matt won the high jump, clearing an even 6'.  Matt then sailed 18-03.25 or 5.56m good for fifth in the long jump.  Bryan Douglass of QPI sailed 21' 2" for first. Matt also leaped 38-05.00 or 11.70m good for fifth in the triple jump. Demonstrating true multi-sport skills, Matt came back to clock 17.08 for second in the 110 meter hurdles, behind teammate Jason Monette's 16.83. Matt also clocked 1:02.44 for second in the 400 meter hurdles.

Mike Swett ( South '00 and WPI '04 ) tossed the javelin 115-05 or 35.17m for 17th place. Mike then clocked 2:13.84 for sixth in the 800 meters.

Eric Ware (Northbridge '01 and Assumption '05)  tossed the javelin 147-02 or  44.85m for sixth place.
