Wheaton hosted the event, then placed 1st in both the men's and women's competitions.  

Noah Hill (Naragansett HS and Wheaton)  ran 4:20.61 for 6th in the 1500 meters.  Hartwick's Jeff Barringer ran 4:09.99 for 1st.  Noah also ran 9:07.43.  for 3rd in the 3000 meters.  Teammate Stan Pyle was 1st in 8:55.74.  

Vinny Piarulli (Oxford HS '98 and Bryant)  placed 11th overall in the 3000 meters with 10:18.95 .  

Jeff Backstrom (Leicester HS '98 and Bryant ) clocked 7.13 for 20th overall in the 55  meter prelims.  more about this athlete etc goes here  Jeff came back to place 3rd overall in the triple jump with a distance of 13.38 meters.  Then Jeff placed 3rd in the long jump, clearing 21' 3.25".   

Louis Cote (Worcester South HS and Worcester State) placed 5th in the 3000 meters, clocking  9:19.33.  Stan Pyle of Wheaton went under 9:00 for 1st.

Jen Forte (Marlboro HS and Fitchburg State) ran  2:49.50 for 14th in the 800 meters, behind Erin Obrien's 2:28.2 1st for Wheaton. 

Dan Savukoski (Fitchburg HS '99 and Fitchburg State) ran 4:29.93 for 10th in the 1500 meters. 

Matt Lemaire (Northbridge HS '00 and Westfield St) clocked  8.04 to qualify for the 55 HH finals, then clocked 7.95 to place 2nd overall.  

Christopher Starr (Leominster HS and Bridgewater State) ran  2:04.01 for 5th in the 800 meters, then came back for 3rd in the 1500 with 4:15.30.
