What is a Hoya?  From the Georgetown U web site comes this bit of important infobitlobyte: Many years ago, when all Georgetown students were required to study Greek and Latin, the University's teams were nicknamed "The Stonewalls." It is suggested that a student, using Greek and Latin terms, started the cheer "Hoya Saxa!", which translates into "What Rocks!" The name proved popular and the term "Hoyas" was eventually adopted for all Georgetown teams.  This is important stuff.  Memorize it.  There will be a test!

Mike Smith (Georgetown junior and Wachusett HS), ran 4:12.38 for third place in the mile.  Ben Cook was 1st in 4:09.45.  Mike's time qualified him for the IC4As.  Mike had run 4:18.88 for second place in the mile at the Terrapin Invitational on January 7.
