| Ken Buron who graduated from
Millbury High School in 2001 is at Central
Arizona College ran a 25:40 8k last weekend at the Canyon West Invitational and came
in 7th place. Says his legs feel good and he is ready to run faster.
Ken was #2 man, behind 1st placer Jonah Maiyo. Central Arizona was 3rd team overall. Ken runs with teammates from towns such as Tombstone and Surprise, Arizona, Burnt Rock, Kenya, and St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands. Central Arizona is south of Phoenix and competes, with significant success, in the National Junior College Athletic Association. Central Arizona also has teams that compete in the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association. Gads, if I was a high school senior, I would give serious consideration to going to college here. |
