Boston College took the women's title with a low 31. New Jersey's Guiney sisters led the way for BC, placing 1-2 overall.  The Guiney sisters also took the sisters title, beating the O'Neil's of Yale, who placed 3-12.

Lara Niell (Bromfield School, Dartmouth) was the top Central Mass finisher,  as well as the #1 runner for Dartmouth.  Laura Smith (Wachusett HS, BC) placed 15th overall, but was #5 for BC.    Jennifer McCarthy (Wachusett, Colgate) was 59th overall.  Amanda Dahlberg (Gardner HS, U Mass) placed 197th overall, #9 for U Mass. .  

The Men's race featured two former Massachusetts state champs.  Tristan Colangelo (Gloucester HS, Princeton) was the #4 man for Princeton, 28th overall.  2000 champ Neal Graves (Mohawk, Dartmouth) was #8 man for team titlist Dartmouth, placing 63rd overall.  South's Jon Murphy (U Mass Lowell) was the top Central Mass finisher, in 48th.  Ryan Bourque (Fitchburg HS 2000 and U Mass) placed 235th overall
