Lowell) placed 26th in the Jonathan Murphy (Worcester South HS and U Mass Lowell) placed 9th in the 3,000 meters, coming home just in front of the McGovern twins. Jon ran 8:50.59. Harold Mateo (Fitchburg HS and
Bentley) ran 7.41 in the 60 meter dash, Mike Killam (Groton-Dunstable HS and Bentley) placed 23rd of 41 runners in the 3,000 meters. Ryan Kirkpatrick of Westchester TC ran away in 8:11. Jillian Croft (Gardner HS and U Mass Lowell) ran 7.77 in the prelim round of the 60 meter dash, then ran 7.81 to place 5th in the finals. Nolle Graham of Seton Hall was 1st in 7.50. Jill also placed 5th in the high jump, clearing 5' 5". Beth Castagno topped the field at 5' 7". Jill topped off her day by placing 2nd in the long jump, leaping 18' 2.25". Jana Bromell (David Prouty HS and Wheaton College) 3rd in the shot with a toss of 40 feet even. Heather Oldham of U Mass Lowell was first with 46' 8". Jana also placed 6th in the weight throw, heaving the pill 43' 11.25" Anna Borgren lapped the field with a toss over 68'. Olympic Trials competitor and Grafton High School grad Bethany Hart was 2nd with a heave of 59' 8.25" Elizabeth Gorecki (Murdock HS and U Mass Lowell) placed 24th in the 400 meters in 65.10. Shontee Bryant of Seton Hall was 1st in 57.12. Franklin HS and BC's Jenifer Vendetti was 4th. Kristy Laramee (Leicester HS and Middlebury College) placed 2nd in the high jump, clearing 5' 7", equalling the 1st place height. Tanya Latraverse (Blackstone-Millville and U Mass Lowell) placed 24th in the 800 meter run in 2:40.42. Selena Sappleton of the Starlets was 1st in 2:17.38.
