Where did those Central Mass High Schoolers Go?

URI, Maine, Central Connecticut, Quinnipiac, Hartford, January 26

Catherine Charron (Notre Dame  and Rhode Island)  placed 2nd in the 55 meter hurdles, with a time of 9.26.  Margaret Muller of U Maine topped the field in 8.77.

Ellen Hedlund (Wachusett  and U Maine)  placed 6th in the mile in 5:32.79.  Rachel Borchers of Maine topped the field in 5:10.79.  

Heather Audet (Tantasqua and U of Maine)  placed 2nd  in the shot put with a toss of 35' 10.5".  Kelly Hagner of URI was first with 40' 4".  Heather also placed 10th in the weight throw with a heave of 36' 0.25"

Yale Invitational @ Yale University, Saturday, January 13

Tim Curran (St John's and Providence College)  placed 2nd  in the 3,000 meters in a nice 8:46.12.  

John O'Mara (St John's and Providence College)  clocked 8:59.60 for fifth place in the 3K.   

New England Challenge Cup, January 21

Tim Curran (St John's and Providence College)  ran a leg of the winning Distance Medley Relay.  PC finished in 10:20.5.  

Yale, Columbia, Dartmouth,  January 21 at Yale

Erin Dromgoole (Millbury and Dartmouth College)  placed first in the mile run in 5:00.5.   Kate O'Neill (Milton HS, Yale) of the O'Neill twins was third in 5:01.71. Kate's sister,  Laura O'Neill placed second in the 3K in 10:01.98.  

Jeff Guennette (Fitchburg and Dartmouth College) second in the 500 meter dash in 1:06.57, just a second behind Yale's Don Carson.
