Where did those Central Mass High Schoolers Go?  

Atlantic Coast Conference 

Bill Spierdowis (Foxboro HS and Duke junior)  ran 1:53.30 in the 800 prelims, then placed 5th in the 800 meters final  in 1:52.17.  Jeff Ellis of NC was 1st in 1:49.52.   Bill also ran the 3rd leg of Duke's 3rd place Distance Medley relay.

 Shiela Agrawal (Case HS and Duke)  ran 9:32.33 for second place in the 3,000 meters.  1st went to Sara Day of Wake Forest in 9:26. Shiela just outsprinted Shalane Flanagan. 

Shalane Flanagan (Marblehead HS and North Carolina)  ran 9:33.02 for third place in the 3,000 meters.  1st went to Sara Day of Wake Forest in 9:26.  Shalane also took 1st place in the mile in a very nifty 4:37.41.    

The ACC includes North Carolina, Clemson, Georgia Tech, Virginia, Wake Forest, Maryland, Florida State, Duke, and North Carolina State.
