Jennifer Baudreau (North Middlesex HS and Wesleyan University) placed second in the 3000 meters in 11:24.21. Jennnifer was the top finisher for W.U. Carolyn Robin of Quinnipiac took first in 10:59.69.
Ummm....let's see. The start of the 3,000? A close finish in the 55 meters? I wonder if the parents know what their kids are doing? Check the Wesleyan web site for the answer.

Nicole Esten (Uxbridge HS and Westfield State) placed 2nd in the 400 meters in 63.52, just 0.12 behind 1st place Jamilla Dick of Medgar Evers. Kristi Popoff (Leicester HS and Westfield State) placed
3rd in the 800, in Jason Pappas (Fitchburg HS and Westfield State senior) placed 2nd in the 800 in 2:04.27. Anthony Shrout of Quinnipiac won by less than one second in 2:03.30. Matt Lemaire (Northbridge HS and Westfield State) ran 8.40 in the prelims of the 55 meter HH, then accelerated to 8.31 to take first in the finals. Mike Neely (Shephard Hill HS and Westfield State) screamed 8.20 in the 55 HH prelims, then stumbled and ran 10.32 for eighth in the finals. Mark Hewitt (Milford HS and Bridgewater
State) had a Chris Starr (Bromfield School and Bridgewater State) placed 10th in the 1500 in 4:28.03. Roland Lavallee of Quinnipiac topped the field in 4:07.2 |

2:39.66. Stephanie Mendes of Quinnipiac topped the
field in 2:33. 
busy day. Mark ran 7.54 in the 55 meter
prelim for 6th, tossed the shot 12.28 meters for 2nd, and heaved
the weight (hammer) 8.28 meters for 11th.
