NSCAA XC Championships |
Undercover reporter Desmond Farrelly, filed the following report on the National Small College XC championships. Desmond (Narragansett HS) placed a close 3rd for Unity College. Desmond, normally a long sprinter (400, 600) placed 6th in the 1995 Central Mass Division 2 XC Championships, and was a T&G All Star in 95 and 96. Ahhh, to be young again. Carleton Lane (St. John's HS) was third man for Unity, coming home 8th overall. Unity College placed 2nd in the team competition behind Dine' College. And who, you ask, is Carleton Lane? Well...Carleton placed 12th in the 1999 Central Mass, Division 1, XC Championships. Go ahead, ask me another.
Desmond cut class, skipped Bio lab, dodged his Quant assignment, and shortcut his DiffEQ midterms, just to get this information to us. But that's ok, he had a note from CMS excusing him from the entire semester. HA!
