Sheela Agrawal, from Eastern Mass' Case HS and Duke U, placed 7th in the 3,000 meters in 9:54.69, a time which qualified her for the ECAC championships. Sheela is a former Mass State XC, indoor and outdoor champ. Georgetown's Kathleen Linck topped the field in 9:27.75.
Michael Smith, Wachusett HS and James Madison U, screamed through the 3000 meters in 8:24.02 to place second behind Ray Pugsley of Reebok Enclave.
Dave Raymond, Wachusett HS and James Madison U, rolled through the 3000 meters in 8:46.47 to place ninth.
Punnie Chittchang, U of Maryland, placed third in the women's long jump. I have no idea who Punnie is, but she certainly has one of the all-time great names!

Erin Dromgoole, Millbury HS and Dartmouth, placed ninth in the 5,000 meters in 17:45.37. Kara Kerr of Columbia topped the field with 16:59.7. Kara also placed second in the 10K.
Craig Lefort, Northbridge HS and Columbia U placed ninth in the 10,000 meters in 33:28.91. Chris Banks of Princeton took first in 31:16.85.
Jeff Guenette, Fitchburg HS and Dartmouth, placed 7th in the 400 meter intermediate hurdles prelims in 54.00. Jeff then placed 7th in the finals in 54.23. Tom Hocker of Yale was 1st in 52.09.
