Dave Raymond (James Madison U and Wachusett HS), placed 7th in the mile in 4:37.17 at the Hershey Relays at Bucknell on January 15. Teammates Mike Fox and Scott Davis were second and third in 4:23 and 4:27.
Shiela Agrawal (Duke U and Case HS), placed 3rd in the mile in 5:00.04 at the Fairfax VA Winter Invitational on January 8.
Bill Spierdowis (Duke U and some Eastern Mass HS), placed 2nd in the 1,000 in 2:27.24, also at at the Fairfax VA Winter Invitational on January 8.
Entrants in the Terrier Classic, to be held at Boston University (Men's events on Saturday, January 29) for the Central Mass. Striders:

Competition includes college and club runners. Everybody from sub 4:00 milers to 4:52 milers. Stanford has entered Jennings, Stember and Hauser, along with Louis Luchini, Maine HS's 1999's #2 in the National HS 2 Mile. (Yes, Stanford recruits every top distance runner in America). UMass Lowell has entered Joe Sans (Narragansett HS). Franklin Sanchez shows up under the BAA Banner. Many of the old CMS East members, now running under the Reebok Boston banner, are entered, including Darin Shearer, Jason Cullinane, Jack Dwyer, and others. Boston College has entered their young burners from New Jersey (of course), the Guiney sisters. CMS has entered (3k) Laure Feit Melnick, 09:45.2. Also, with much pain, I report that Reebok Boston has entered former CMS'ers (800) Jennifer Toomey, 2:06; (800) Allison Goldkamp, 2:08; (800) Amory Rowe, 2:08; (800) June Snow, 2:08; (800) Michelle D'agostino, 2:10; (mile) Jessica Mc Garty, 5:05; (mile) Stacey Mosley, 5:05; (3k) Rebecca Donaghue, 09:18; (5k) Kristen Beaney, 15:50; (5k). Everybody's favorite, Jill Croft of UMass Lowell and Gardner HS is also entered.
